Demolition and strip-out in Bialystok and the region

Scope of work

What demolition work covers

Inside the building

  • Taking down partition walls
  • Door openings and new passages through walls
  • Breaking up floor screed, plaster and wall coverings
  • Stripping out fitted units, suspended ceilings and plasterboard

Free-standing structures

  • Garages, car ports and garden shelters
  • Outbuildings and storage sheds
  • Fences, low walls and footings
  • Hardstanding and concrete slabs

Around the job

  • Protecting rooms, the stairwell and circulation routes
  • Carrying rubble down from every floor
  • Haulage and handover of waste for disposal
  • Cleaning once the work is finished

We do not carry out explosive demolition, we do not remove corrugated cement sheeting or any other asbestos-containing materials, and we do not take down large-span industrial structures.

Consents and waste

Whether a wall can simply come out depends on whether it carries load. In a block of flats the building's management will normally need to agree to the work as well. Rather than guess, we say what applies to a given case when we quote, and the paperwork stays with the owner.

Rubble and demolition waste go to operators licensed to receive them. That matters more than it sounds: responsibility for where waste ends up sits with whoever ordered the work, so a clean handover is part of what we deliver.

Quotes

Tell us what has to go and we will say how it gets done

On a demolition job, access to the work and the volume of rubble change the figure more than anything else. A photograph of the wall or the structure moves a quote along faster than the most careful description.

Three things help on the call: what needs doing and where, a rough size or scale, and the timing. We answer the phone Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00.
